Yep, old photos. But based on the text, all records, never seen snow, 70k miles, etc., I thought it's worth a look.

1973 PORSCHE 914: Classic two seater roadster . . . Mid engine Porsche with removable hardtop. 1.7 liter, 4 cylinder engine, the interior is in decent condition. The car is ivory white with black interior. The removable black targa top is in great condition. . . . a truly fun car to drive. . . not to mention the 30 plus miles per gallon; excellent cornering.
I have owned it for some 30+ years (these pictures were taken quite a few years back). Always maintained (have ALL THE RECORDS). It was never driven in winters. Consequently, it has very low original miles, about 70,000.
This is a typical, sitting for a very long time, Vintage, German car (a 1973... a car that is more than 35 years old). I start this car periodically so I know that the engine runs. However, it has not moved from its spot in years. This is not a vehicle to come "see, test drive and drive away". The brakes and tires have not been moved, and I would not think to drive this car off the driveway. It's a project car to trailer away and work on in your garage or shop to get back into shape.
I am selling the house where the car is parked, and I have no place to put it. I do not have the time ... nor the energy to begin to go through the processes and methodology here of what's involved in getting the car squared away (to get things 'up to snuff').
However, I do know how to do it and, if and when we meet, I will give you my approach if you're interested. Whoever buys it, will have to trail it to destination, and start with a front to back, systematic, shake down, as to what is needed to get it up to daily road use.
The body is all there, no dents or dings. There is probably a good deal of rust in areas not readily visible or obvious on a casual look which will need attention so it needs restoration work. Would make great project ... but with the moving, I do not have the time to do the work.
Additionally it comes with the upgrade fuel delivery system to a Weber 2 barrel carburetor. Sway bars, instrument upgrade console (with VDO gauges). Appearance package. It came with the good 5 speed manual transmission which was the first year of their upgraded transmission. Works fine. Great fun car to work on. Engine, if needed, drops down as opposed to needing a lift.
Asking $1495, will consider offers
Wish it was close enough for a look see. I'm not sure why the one owner would "think" there is probably considerable rust on a car with 70k miles that was never driven in the winter. But I do like is candor. Do 914s rust that badly? I am familar with the hell hole.
Mine had 55,000 miles when I bought it, always slept inside. It didn't rust, but the usual rust spots were bad anyway. Sheet metal around the rear deck hinges was just torn up! Torsion springs were replaced with pistons and things got better by redirecting the force.
If the battery is overcharged and burps white acidy foam, it has no place to go but down. Goes down the firewall and onto the torsion boxes, suspension mounting points. Rust may aggrevate this.
I'm four hours away, maybe someone closer can check it out.

This is what I got from a 914 Board:
914Board said: This car has been for sale for several years, at least the past three, but it could be more. It will be listed nonstop for a month or so, then will disappear for several only to be relisted with the same ad. He has dropped the price a few hundred since this started. There was a period where some other guy would post right after it was listed ranting about what a rusty POS it was. I can't confirm that; I have never seen the car. I had asked him to send pictures several years ago, but was told to come out to see it. It might be a good car, but I kinda doubt it because it has been for sale for way too long.
