will (hopefully) look like this.
Secret spy stuff from our friends at Factory Five, courtesy of Tim Suddard. I think I like it better in 3 dimensions than the rendering that won the contest.
Now I can't wait for SEMA so I can see it in full size. (Photos at least...)
Sorry, I continue to be underwhelmed.
Xabier's design looks good and RISD definitely did a great job bringing it to life in 3D.
But it lacks punch. It's a Hyundai of sports car bodies. It's well designed, but not really unique or groundbreaking. It doesn't stand out as something new - you'll get "Isn't that the new Ferrari?" or "Ain't that some kind of Lotus?", rather than "what is THAT?!". I was really hoping for something more.
Kudos all around, but I can't wait to see the other designs.

Um, isn't this it? I don't think that they're developing additional designs at this point. True, it's a bit conservative, but to go truly cutting-edge is to risk having a Ron Paul design - loved by it's fans, and shunned by the majority. The bottom line IMO is that FF needed a handsome skin for a budget wundercar. They succeeded.
So is now the appropriate time to start thinking about powerplants? Am I the only one who would favor a well built stout NS type build to a high strung turbo? Lag doesn't suit it's character.

It's an appropriate time to THINK of them.
I have early indicators that a single digit serial number kit will be heading to Florida...we will definitely be building one so watch us make mistakes and learn from them before building your own!
