Japanese kei cars were supposed to be small and efficient. We’re not sure if those who wrote the regulations ever imagined stuff this radical. randman2011 has an Autozam AZ-1 on the way to the States. An AZ-1? It’s a mid-engined, gullwinged special built by Suzuki but sold under Mazda’s Autozam nameplate. The car is still en route, but the work has already begun.
I very very much want one of these, a City Turbo, and a Motocompo, all of which together fit into a one car parking space.
