We're having our HVAC ductwork upgraded(as phase-1 of eventually replacing our undersized & 35-year old system). I walked outside yesterday & they had a pile of the old ductwork behind their box truck, so I asked what they were doing with it. He said they were just taking back to their dumpster & I could take as much as I wanted, so I grabbed these 2 pieces:
What's my budget hit if I use any of this for my build?

We used dead water heaters as free donor metal on the amc.

Free. I picked up an old washer from a friend after she posted it to fb. It's going to be my firewall patch after I remove the heater box.
Considering they were going to pay someone to empty the dumpster, that might be a negative pennies worth to your budget!
