I CAN'T_WAIT to autocross the car. Hadn't even thought about class. I need to look at the rules. I would've assumed it would have gone into something crazy like XP.

Would DEFINITELY like to figure out a "honged" spring/strut combo with beefier rates. In the past we've had good luck with grabbing a couple giant van springs from PAP and cutting them in half, matching them to whatever truck/van struts will fit.

One of the many things that I love about this car is that it has opened my eyes to the options available for a higher mileage track/race car. Where I might have previously cut off my search parameters at, say, 115,000 miles, I might now be willing to take a chance on a car with a bit more. Maybe a lot more.

THIS!!! ^^^ I'm HAPPY to answer questions. In hindsight, I should've done the build thread BEFORE the Challenge (durp,) and just directed people there. I REALLY take ZERO offense to being "called out/questioned" It's the after-the-fact "whispers" that grind my gears.

As a former Honda fanboi, I am now a devout guzzler from the LS kool aid fountain. I drove my last V1 from 117k to 200+ with the only hiccup being a broken valve spring, which was a cheap, easy fix.

A guy pulled up in a black V1 on Saturday when we were loading the car. It has a little over 200k miles, and we're talking about doing a swap + cash for my V2. Mileage doesn't scare me a bit in these things. Neither does the overblown "ZOMG TEH WHEELHOP WILL EXPLODE THE GLASS DIFF!"

Major scoreboard for me.......all this 'V' goodness in just a few clicks.....always knew this platform would benefit from a Jenny Craig.....well done .
