Are you seeing more than 1 piece rear?
I'm seeing 1 piece rear, with 2 custom side pieces.
I guess I found this a month late. Anyone know what happened to this? Any info on if it sold or who bought it?
Day late again

jhaas and I both spoke to him.
We were interested in the molds and in manufacturing more of them (I do fiberglass patternmaking). We would have done it together if we thought we could make money at it.
My sense was that it wasn't anywhere near as special as the guy seemed to think. He thinks it is very valuable, has no info, doesn't even know if the pattern set is complete, and won't budge on his price. I walked away. I'm pretty sure jhaas did too (though he's been known for special projects ). My sense was that a lot of people have walked away from this once they get to talking to the guy.
But, if you find it attractive as a personal project, by all means I'd say go for it. It may still be sitting. By now, he might be a bit more flexible.
I don't think it is the movie car, nor the original molds. Perhaps a copy.
Yeah I dropped him an email. I will try to call at some point. I would have to see the molds and body before I made a decision thats for sure.
did either of you guys get pics of what he had? I cant see the ad linked in.

Good luck
yeah If it is the one that used to be in orlando its molds were pulled from one of the two originals and then modified heavily. The plan was to use f body glass in place of the Ferrari pieces to save money. they were calling Wraith 2. I would have renamed it entirely.
I think it could make a good car design, definatly not a movie car though. And not worth anywhere near what he is asking.
We have the original movie car, at least one of two stunt cars used for the race scenes. You can see our progress and more details at a website mentioned earlier in this thread. www.thewraithcar.com
I would take into consideration that there have been scams about the Wraith (original M4S style) bodies and the Wraith II bodies in the past. I'm not saying one way or another about this guy, but if anyone goes buying this body, you make sure to take any precautions necessary before sending money. This person on Craigslist just dropped the price by half... that's an interesting drop.
By the way, original Wraith body kits are being made by us, we hope to have it up and running for buyers in the next few weeks. You can see some of the kit bodies in our restoration pictures on the site. The picture below is one of the original prop cars from the film. We just wrapped up the paint job.
