I can contact my friend Harry who had several Panhards and raced a Deutch Bonnet. He had a pretty large collection of parts and might be a good source. He also was a French teacher and has contacts in France. Let me know if you're interested.
I know I'm not Pat, but make the contacts.
It will be interesting to see what is missing, and then try to find it all.
And I'm pretty sure that this group will be as much help as we can be.

Agreed to the price tag from before he found out what it was and because it is on his trailer(he bought it to flip and just brought it home friday)
Wow! That means at $650, he was turning a profit.
He paid 160. Said his buddy bought it at auction and didn't know what to do with it so he figured he could make a few bucks. With what he's got going on(house burned down 5 years ago with his wife's 1971 monte carlo factory 454 SS black on black on black in garage, underinsured) he can use some car fund $. He's gathering parts for the monte rebuild, which is currently tarped in the driveway.

Yes please don! I'm going to need all the help i can with this one. I can't go drop a bunch of cash immediately on it but if i can get wheels here, engine/trans there, etc. I'm paying extra on my truck and house every month to make the loan terms that much shorter and am saving up for a 32' enclosed trailer so i can carry both racecars at once.
I have been following this thread each step of the way. Im so glad you snagged this thing patgizz. It is going to be so awesome to watch this build unfold.

Where was this auction? Maybe there are still a few parts in the area.
Did you get the Ghia nose too?

I will get hold of Harry and see what he has and any contact info he may be able to provide.

Yes. Who wants it?
How close is it to fitting on the car?
I'd probably try to sell it on Craigslist for $650.
In reply to patgizz:
Next time I'm in Ohio can I touch your Devin?
Congrats! I am with Woody flip the nose. You may want to post it on SAMBA.
Been following along since the thread started but I didn't recognize the car till Woody mentioned the Devins. Cool to see you ended up with it. I remembered reading about the cars back in the 60-70's?
I also think you should sell the Gia nose, even if it means hand fabbing a fiberglass replica nose.
Pretty amazing story; can't wait to see the build thread for this one!

I've known you long enough that it probably won't be uncomfortable
So when is the Ohio meet up at Pat's house to see this thing?
Be warned, if you guys want that you're all helping put the body on the challenge car, and i'm not pulling the glass to make it lighter

Pat,
I contacted my friend Harry and he has disposed of all his Panhard parts. He is going to get me contact info for a guy stateside who is dealing in this stuff back and forth to France. I'll pass italong as soon as I get the info.
I've been following as well. Awesome find. It always amazes me the depth of obscure knowledge on this board. I think Woody needs a gold star, I would not have come up with a Devin given the photos. And I recently took a look at the Devin at the Lane Museum too.

It can't weigh more than a dually axle...
If Nick is around, that frees up a bunch of us to just stand around, drink beer, and make un-helpful comments...
In reply to XLR99:
Speaking of dually axles I still owe you a beer or more I think.

look what i can do!
update - this weekend is bad for him and my schedule got upended by a tenant that won't leave the condo we're supposed to gut the kitchen/bathroom/flooring in tomorrow so it's coming home tomorrow. oof, not ready for it. was hoping to drop it in front of the HF popup garage after moving the other car out so i could get it in the back of it, but won't have time. may have to get it close enough and deal with it. really wish i hadn't scrapped my pallet jack because the car is small and light enough that it probably would have worked perfectly.
