this is not mine......i have looked at car it does have some rot issues but are fixable and they are hidden lower rockers and a little in floor. Right now he will take $1,750.00 for it. it is a stick

The E24 is such a classic shape. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see these start to go up in value soon.
Did you by chance take any pictures of the rot? For that price, it would almost be good for a fun beater you wouldn't have to care about.

Sometimes I regret showing cars like this to my g/f. She spent half the night bugging me when I was going out to pick it up...
My brother has one in S. Cali that has been a Cali car all it's life.. basically the Bruce Willis Moonlighting car.. drove it cross country to visit my folks in OH last year. Hit a deer on the trip and now has a small wrinkle in the grille surround. Made it back home without incident then developed a coolant leak at the head.. a solid rust free project car that he'd love to see gone for a grand.
