About what. If it said "replaced spark plugs" I'd wonder.
Even for $1,000 I couldn't be seen in a new beetle of that vintage.
It would be worth it just for the motor (to some people on the internet) if the injection pump wasn't bad...
if the drivetrain is solid (excluding the pump) it's definitely worth more in parts than $1,000.
