FB RX-7 Autocross Car - $1500

83 Mazda RX-7 - $1500 firm to a GRMer, $1999 OBO to a civvie.

Second owner, 12A rotary runs excellent, 5-Speed manual trans in great shape. 4-wheel-disc brakes, 14" mesh "LE" Mazda wheels painted bronze with polished lips and centers on Falken Azenis Rt615's. Racing Beat intake, dual-pulley, streetport header, and airpump delete. Magnaflow resonator, Summit fully-welded race muffler, SS dual tips (the whole exhaust is welded as 1 piece from the primaries to the tips, the only gasket is the header to block which is a Racing Beat). Performance Friction Pads, Magnecor KV85 wires, Exedy factory replacement clutch kit, RP in the trans and diff, Ractive race buckets.

Factory sunroof car, have steel and glass versions with leather case. Have complete factory black interior to go with the car plus most of a maroon one. Complete factory option stereo from Clarion with amps and equalizer all factory-rebuilt in the 90's (out of the car). New aluminum racing pedals (real ones) included, service manuals, spare hatch w/ rear wiper setup (works), spare alternator, and more.

Has won Regional SCCA championship and has been in the Top 20 overall (Top 10 street driven) at 70+ car events. Go on a road trip no problem, it's a great and reliable car.

Why would anyone deliberately crush a not-rusty RX-7?! I've been saving up my money, if your deadline was March 1st I'd have this. It's even the same color as my old car...

Somebody is coming over to kick the tires Wednesday, Lugnut's looking at plane tickets, and half a dozen people "want it". First person with cash and/or Miata mods in hand gets it.

He's a no show I have another one tomorrow at 5 that was also supposed to come today. I doubt he's serious either.

Oy. Thursday was a no show. Saturday (the first really actually serious one) was a no show. I've had a dozen phone calls but nobody wants to get off their @$$ in the winter. No wonder it's been so easy for me to scoop up all the good deals lately.

Lugnut, I really want to do your deal, but honestly the rear diff whine scares me. I've got another diff (with an LSD even!) but it's 250 miles away and still in a damn car. If I don't get any action on this thing I'll swap the diffs and give you call to fly out and get it. Plus that'll give us a few weeks for the weather to calm down (the 615's are on the wear bars. Great in the dry, crap in the wet!).

The seasons aren't helping things. If it were warm and i could drive it back without worrying about getting stranded, i'd be on my way. Plane tickets aren't that expensive.
