This was going to be a Challenge car. I purchased this from Woody with hopes I would bring it to Gainesville...I just don't have time to do it.
It is a black, naturally aspirated, manual transmission car with ~125,000 miles, fair-good interior and exterior with a little rocker rot. Car needs an overhaul, brakes, fuel system, and suspension will need to be gone through.
I have a 1999 1mz-fe (3.0L Toyota V6, ~200hp with an unrestricted exhaust) on a pallet with S51 manual trans, wiring, cluster, axle shafts, fuel pump and misc other parts I pulled from a Camry. I have a video of the V6 running in the Camry. For those of you not familiar, the 1MZ drops in with very minor wiring and engine mount modifications. It really was meant to be there.
I am selling with a set of Tein sport springs mounted on OE struts with adjustable shock inserts and new front upper strut mounts (~$135 for the mounts alone).
I also have some new interior bits I can include like new center console trim and power mirror switch. I will sell engine/transmission and suspension separately, but would rather keep it together. Buy the whole package plus misc other parts I have for the project. I've listed it elsewhere for more, but to honor Woody's wish I'd love to see it be brought to the Challenge. My break even is $1,400, which leaves a lot in the Challenge budget for an ill conceived turbo or supercharger. Come get it!
