I'm pulling out an on demand water heater, whole house unit, one of the elements has gone out, but still has 2 good units that work great. If I had only a 1/2" feed line coming in, they could probably keep up, but with 3/4", it's taxing it. It will keep a shower hot enough right now, but I'm afraid in a couple of months if it gets colder, my wife is going to complain, so I'm going ahead & putting in a new one. If you're building a shop and looking to put in hot water, these things are great. I've had it in the house for 12 years now, and this is the only problem I've had. ~14" high by ~21" wide by ~5" deep. Uses two 50 amp breakers. I've already disconnected the bad element and capped off the lines to it. Here is a link to the installation manual: Installation Manual and the specifications.
