Thanks, that's really helpful. A couple of years ago I tried getting my IAC working after upgrading from MS1 to MS2, thinking the wife would appreciate a more predictable idle in the ol' Volvo (with GM TBI). After a few hours of head scratching and failed attempts, I gave up. Maybe this will be the kick in the ass I need to get back on the pony and try again.

You're welcome. PWM valves would make for a much shorter article - they have a lot fewer things that can go wrong.

This is relevant to my interests...gotta set up electronic idle control when I put an MS2x on my 4AGE, and I was planning on using a stepper IAC from a modern Toyota.
