I dig long roofs. I have a 67 Coronet deluxe wagon for my daily driver while I'm working on my 65 Coronet project car.
On your new fuel tank, be aware that alcohol and aluminum don't get along. Pump fuel, unless you get a hold of straight gas, contains ethanol. Not sure if Tanks Inc makes a unit for yours or another company. Rick's Tanks, which is in Texas, makes tanks to order out of stainless.

Fortunately for me a local station caters to boaters and old car people with 4 pumps that have no ethanol fuel. I have a couple that need the no alcohol fuel.
