Wednesday bid "$1250" on an XJR with minor damage. Lost at $1200 because I didn't realize my bid limit was $1150.
.....
Mmmmmmm. $1250 XJR. Delicious.

The civic hatch is PERFECT. You know they will be suckers for vintage rice in the concourse
In reply to Apexcarver :
That second one "has some type of problem" why even say that without telling what it is?
In reply to Apexcarver :
That civic hatch isn't bad. I've been focusing on copart or local(15 mile) searches because I've been struggling to get out of work.
E55 AMG and another NC Miata to bid on Monday.
I also went looking for a PT Cruiser GT but didn't find one (surprisingly.). In years past, I think they could be a good challenger.
I was also surprised that searching Q45 and Infiniti didn't bring up a winner, but you know that well.
Jag S Type (with a Bentley in the driveway too.)
Supercharged Riviera to do battle with Stampie's Riviera
Another dark horse challenger I think is the 1.8T 'new' beetle. You should have the weight advantage over Jeremy on the same basic platform at least!

That's not how it works around here. You're supposed to start the build thread before the car arrives! Can't wait to see what you won.
In reply to Scotty Con Queso :
But I already have wheels, fender flares and a nitrous kit ready to go for it. Just need some maxpeedingrod coilovers and a hood.
In reply to John Welsh :
I was so close on an LS400 but it was Facebook marketplace. Was going to be redemption from my poor performance in the last one. Still waiting on the guy to let me know when he is available so I can come look at/buy his car. At least we had a nice back and forth before he ghosted me.
Most Facebook people leave me on read. I want to buy your car and I have money please sell it to me!

There's got to be a joke in there somewhere about how you're the one always getting iced?
Since I'm impatient and like sharing. The front end is a little damaged. I hope to get it here soon so I can figure out what parts I need to replace to get a rebuilt title. Then it'll be on to challenge glory.
In reply to Andy Neuman :
Less fun, but those things still seem like pretty decent cars. Glad you were able to find something. I still don't know what I want to do for the challenge.
The round clock and gated shifter implies Infiniti, I'm just not sure which one.
Edit: as I scroll up, I see it is G35!
If you trailer the car down, it doesn't need to have a road-going title for The Challenge.
Beige-tastic strikes again!
In reply to John Welsh :
My goal is to drive it down.
Already looking at my parts stash, will be using parts going as far back as 2017
Car showed up late last night, just gave the guy my gate code at work and he dropped it off.
Showed up to work and had it sitting in the lot. Good news is it started right up and drove across the parking lot also the interior is in nice shape.
Bad news, from a quick glance I need these parts headlights, hood, hood hinges, radiator, radiator fan/shroud, coolant reservoir, core support, intake, and power steering reservoir cap. So if you see me taking parts off to put on crappy parts in the hotel parking lot you know why.
Did you know the core support is composite in g35s?
