New distributor fixed it! 
Need to do some fine tuning... I'm sure carb adjustments will actually do something now. 
 

It is much, much faster than the 1200. Feels like literally double the HP, and it may actually be pretty close to that!

Thanks! Facebook, but it took a while. I'd recommend joining some dune buggy groups on there.
