I finally wrapped up the harness install. I had to fab an antisubmarine belt mount and a seat back support.
Feels nice and secure with a 5-point harness, especially compared to late 70's econobox seatbelts. The original 3-pointer is still installed and still works.
Last weekend I saw another '80 210. The 3rd one I've ever seen. Hard to believe mine used to look like this!

I think Datsaniti is pretty much ready for the $2000 Challenge. I had an autocross planned Sunday to scrub in the new tires, but I don't want to risk anything happening on the way to/there/during at this point. I'm just going to heat cycle/scrub in the Ho Ho's on the street and spend Sunday polishing and detailing the paint.

Good call! I already refreshed the tail light lens tape.
Remember when Datsaniti was just two donor vehicles and a twinkle in Travis' eye? I was there, and am beyond stoked to see the completed project in a couple days!
Man this thing is still awesome, I have a soft spot for wagons in general but this is the first time I've ever seen a Datsun wagon that made me want too own one

My sentiments exactly last week. Except for the build book. Receipts took all day to organize .
