Hello all. I am looking to build a light weight 4wd with major independent suspension travel. Think Can Am Maverick X3 turbo with 500+ HP. so the goal is 4 cyl, 4wd, Narrow differentials front and rear, considering shortening chevy ifs diff. 20+ inches travel, A-arms that come out to about 72ish inches with wheels from diff. (this is full width outside wheel to outside wheel). Here is where I need help, Honda can get the HP as can Subaru but both have transmissions that wont let me run the 4X and other diff. so what 4cyl can get the power (reasonable price, old broke guy) and still let me use a standard style (turbo 400ish) transmission?
