Oh I know. Just friendly banter

thanks!!
UPDATE: Stopped by to do emission check with my friends shop - who also has a LC 100 series. Lo and behold, doesn't need heater - tee, as its been done recently. Bah, nothing to baseline nothing to do.
Time to shop tires.
Don't forget to clear the sunroof drains. Mine leaked down into the fuse panel and made my fog lights and horn stay on.
How many miles on it? Anything I see for less than $18k up here always has a bazillion. I'd probably have one if that wasn't the case
There was a beat up 100 near me for $4000 on FB. I was going to ask you about it but, it was too ugly, even for my cheap ass.
I came to this thread expecting to see a Hyundai, instead I learned about an automotive subculture that I knew very little about. Truck looks great, hope you enjoy it!

Yeah as you k now well, sunroofs don't seem to work on most 100s. Either drains or broken cables. I looked at 7 of these, NONE sunroofs worked. For me that was a dealbreaker.
This one since the sunroof is perfect, first thing I did was check and cleaned all the drains. No leaks, and all is well :) Then again it rains 8 days a year where I live, if that. We don't go outside in the rain. My cars/trucks/bikes stay home if it rains, as do I

Bazillion is all relative. I have a tacoma with 630k miles, all original, and a FJ60 that just turned 507K miles two weeks ago, again all original.
This Hundy has 177,230 upon purchase.
610 miles driven so far (by me).

Hard to live with ugly. I try to close my eyes when I come up to this green one. I can't stand the color.

Sorry we have already Korean owner on this forum. I am not one of them, and will never be.
Thank you for the nice words
I may be in the minority but i dig the green. Friend had a tacoma in a similar color, and put some dark bronze wheels on it and that thing was pretty.
Time to order some wheels/tires. Leaning towards pizza cutter tires.
Debating between Steelies (love them) vs F5 (always classic fat 5 spoke) vs Titan AK1forged, vs method 305NV (least favorite)

Nice Cruiser.
I wouldn't paint it. How long will I own it? My average in the last 67 cars has been ownership of 4.5 months. It is skewed by a few cars I had over 14 years, and some as little as 8-10 days.
My target for the Cruiser is to keep it 6 months. I doubt it will make it that long. Color is too terrible to bear.

Yes Bronze wheels will be ordered by end of the day.
Yeah very popular amongst Taco owners, FJ80 owners etc. I have owned a lot of Toyotas from the era when this green was "fashionable". Always was able to avoid it. Couldn't do it this time.
Re the bronze wheels, I'd just like to point out that you can get TE37s and lookalikes for these.
Not that I'm considering them given that I've got a light green one .

Yup I know all about the TE37s
All the cool hipster kids run the TE on their 4 runner and taco all day. Given I have been running TE on my miatas for longer than most of these kids have been alive, I prefer no TE on my Land Cruiser. TE on the offroad scene reminds me (locally speaking) of all the kids eating $18 avacado toast, and discovered offroading by instagram 1 year ago.
Honestly, UN spec "steelies" are my preference, but not everyone seems to like that look.
**goddamn I sound like a grouschy old Frenchy**
