So this week my wife is in Colombia for work. She has been non stop talking about wanting to compete in the challenge this year with me so we started looking for cars about a month ago. I reallyyyy wanted to buy her this super clean fiero i found but we wound up not getting it, and now i am glad we didnt.
Today while browsing the interwebs on my lunch break like i normally do looking for parts and cars to flip, i came across the gem you see below. A natural Patina 1994 Mustang gt. At first i saw it was 1900 and slightly rough but i decided what the heck i will look at it anyway. I read the description and of course it mentions how hideous it looks but it says it runs great, ok, i can live with that. So i start swiping through all 17 pictures until i get to about pic number 15 and BOOM! A Vortech V1 s trim sitting there under the hood. Not once did he mention it was supercharged, boosted, or anything. so i bet multiple people over looked the car without even thinking to look at it. At first i thought maybe it was a powerdyne but sure enough it was a vortech. i messaged him and went to see the car 10 minutes later and luckily he was only 15 minutes away. just to be sure it made boost and drove good i took it for a spin and wow. this thing rips for what it is. My fox is probably just as fast on all motor but for my wife, this was the perfect car.
So after some negotiation (which was far too easy) he agreed to $1500 and we sealed the deal. It has some very decent parts on it for the price. 98 cobra wheels. tokicko shocks and struts with springs. B&M short throw shifter. 3.73 gears and an all black factory interior! To say the least i am very excited about this car and can't wait to see her reaction when she gets back and sees it.
I have attached a snip of the original listing so everyone can see the original price wasnt far off what i payed. i like to keep our budgets as transparent as possible.
