I am building a 1992 Toyota pickup truck for the $2017 competition. Basic concept is to shorten and lower the truck, which I have already done by zee-ing the rear frame 16" and shortening the wheelbase to 91". That's the same as a Mazda Miata. It has a 3.73 rear end. I have removed and sold the bed. I will be fabricating rear fenders from an aluminum tool box my neighbor put out with the trash. I have gutted the truck, and installed a 6 point roll bar. Some mechanical mods are planned. I have hand-fabricated a set of "zoomie" style headers, found a used race seat on Craigslist, and picked up a set of junkyard front fenders from a 1955 F100 to replace the original front end. The stock fenders, hood, and grill were damaged in a minor collision. I will stay below the half-budget of $1008 for this year, leaving plenty of room to do an engine/transmission swap next year. The truck is being built by myself, my son Aidan, and good friends Skip, Tim, Dillon, Sammie, Willie, and Sherry.

Came for this...
A little disappointed, since Toylet is what I called my mom's car when I was in high school.

There may be a toilet seat incorporated into the design, you'll just have to wait and see....
