Do you mind me asking where you're ordering the brackets? I was looking into the 300zx setup for my sw20 as well and couldn't find a vendor who still sold them.
Delta V in Australia. I reached out through their facebook and theyve been very prompt with replies.
If youre thinking about going this route, and if you think it'll be soon, maybe we could order together/have them shipped together and then one of us just ships to the other. It may be cheaper, just a thought. Shipping is 50 bucks for, likely, a 1lb package ha
As far as this goes - they sell the brakets and hardware, you have to source your own rotors and calipers, as well as a brake line. For their rears, they recommend using the later (22v) model MR2 rear with enlarged rotor. I asked this morning (midnight for them) about if thy do anything with the nissan rears, I could go and pick up those from the junkyard if needed (hoping it's still there ha).
Lexus front rotors, RX8 fronts on the rear. Im curious if Supra fronts could be substituted for the LS400 (or is it 430...) fronts. Would have to check some measurements.
Yeah let me look into everything they offer and if it looks what im after I'd be interested to share shipping! I need to look into the rear set-up as well as I had not given it much thought.
I'll update you when I hear back from them.
If you can find a yard with a Z32 in then you can get the setup for CHEAP...like, I paid 13 or 14 (plus tax) per caliper. So it could be 60 in calipers that are a proven design. Then about 350ish for brackets, then your pads, rotors, and, for the fronts, figuring out brake lines
@Mustard - so they said their stuff ONLY works with the later rear calipers, not the earlier 16V (stamped) or 300ZX.
I need to get to garage sometime and see what I have back there, Im certain it's just the standard early model calipers. I dont know how hard it'd be to source the later 22V items. So then I have to start thinking, "well, for a little more..." and sell off the calipers I have to help fund an AlexW kit. I dont know.

I actually reached out as well because this would be plenty of brake for the mr2 with the 300zx fronts and 22v(late model) rears. I'm currently bidding on some 22v rears on yahoo japan auctions and then will source some 300zx fronts locally(hopefully I can find the aluminum variant for a decent cost)
GRM is turning into an MR2 playground. Love it. Keep up the good work,.

Are they the aluminum TT version? If so let me know what you're looking for and I may snag those!

Ah okay so still the 30mm option just iron. I'd still be interested in cost
Z32 Calipers are cheap on Rockauto also. You want 1991 calipers to get aluminum. Doesn't matter if its from a Turbo or not.

correct, however the first model year non turbo cars did get a different front caliper size so I've always just said TT calipers even though they all do have the same fronts after the fact.

PM me, shipping will cost, but I'll let them go for much cheaper than ebay pricing (and Ive not checked RA so maybe that would be cheaper, who knows)
