I finally got the piping capped and cut out. I pulled out the shower insert. The wall had styrofoam behind it. I was showing my wife the progress and said pull that styrofoam down.

Her reaction was some swearing and her posture of WTF. I laughed and popped this picture. Why didnt the PO at least pull the door? He did knock the doorknob off, lol. I anticipated the doorway but not the door.

When I was doing some work in my house's master bedroom, I had decided to pull the drywall off the outside walls for various reasons.  One of them had some really poor drywall work on it, so that helped make that decision for me.  So, as I demo'd that wall's drywall, I discovered that behind the drywall, there was still a window.  Drywall on the inside, vinyl siding and sheathing on the outside, window w/ glass buried in between.  As you say, WTF.

All I ever find is the old drywall from the last reno, broken up and hidden inside the wall.

Stupid asbestos rules.

I actually like it too, but wouldnt want to look at it everyday. This is all thats left of it. Too bad the birds head was cut out by the switch box.

Here is the $8 light fixture that I mentioned before. I cut the chain part out and had to hacksaw a bit off of it.

My parents gave me an old tv with a mount. I installed in in the garage, ordered a fireTv stick and suddenly felt 100% more redneck/awesome. (Redneck because I was watching Cleetus Mcfarland)

Installed my new to me Craftsman 5hp, 30 gallon, 12 scfm at 40psi and 10 scfm at 90 psi air compressor. I had to install a 20 amp breaker to the old feed to the PO's hot tub. The breaker for it is a 50 amp with something like 8 gauge wire. The 20 amp receptacle needs only 12 gauge and only the two hots and a ground. The 20 amp breaker is there to protect the 12 gauge wire from burning up and to make the transition from the 8 gauge to the 12 gauge wire easier.

I picked up a mini angle die grinder and an air ratchet. I have the (air) power!
