You might have seen my build thread on my LS6 powered Europa.... well I had most of this body left over and I didn't want it to go to waste.

The 4.9 liter Cadillac engine wasn't wired, so I gad to make sure it was still a runner.
I spent last November and December wiring the computer and finally got it to run.
For some reason the Fiero sat at least 2" higher than stock. So in order to properly mount the Lotus body, I had to lower the chassis, which meant custom coilovers for the front. Luckily I had these QA1 parts left over from my LS 6 Lotus build, and they were perfect for the Fiero!! Also switched to Polyurethane bushings and repainted all of the parts.
Rear suspension was easier. Still need to pick up new struts, but I had generic adjustable collars and springs left over from something. (Probably the LS Miata but I'm not sure) so mocked them up on the old struts as "proof of concept"!
The way I see it you have 2 choices, Box Flares or split the body down the middle and widen it enough you can meld the body line?
Exhaust makes an easy candidate for a single turbo!
Replaced the battery box with sheet metal, the upper frame rail with 2x2 tube and braced the rear frame rails with roll bar tubing.
Time to start playing with Fiberglass. I made skins of both the hood and the rear deck, so that I can keep the original parts, which were the only undamaged parts that I had left!
Also made skins of the doors. They are about the same shape as the rear quarter panels that I am missing . Right door skin makes left quarter etc.
This is a fun build and you get bonus car guy points for having 3/4 of a Europa in what appears to be your living room.
In reply to APEowner :
I can't claim the bonus points, because that wasn't my living room, it was the previous owner's. But I did have to get it out!!
