Nope, but it sure could have used one. Ours was abysmally bad in the snow, on Hakkas, at least compared to the GTI I was driving at the time.
They're very solid little cars. My wife's went 42K without doing anything but oil changes. Along with my Fit, it's the only car I've had that I couldn't avoid banging off the rev limiter all the time. Motor never gave you any hint that it was running out of steam and just wanted more more more revs. Never understood the complete lack of love for these. Not the most inspired thing to drive, but it was the wife's car and was bone stock except for tires.
Its one of those cars that has huge "coulda/shoulda/wouldas" hanging over it. Like the 'good' k20. Same basic reason people are so blah about the CRZ.

The lack of travel in the front struts always put me off, although they corrected that a bit in the later years of production. Everyone was baffled by a Civic that couldn't be slammed.
I don't even know what they're going for these days, but I'd consider grabbing one for a DD and keeping it stock. It's still a Civic hatch. I dunno what kind of thieves they attract, having had an EG hatch stolen out of my driveway, I'm a little gun shy about owning "desireable" Hondas (my EM1 Si never leaves the garage).

Oh wow. That's the price range for my next DD. I might put that on the list. Was initially considering a Yaris or Fit for 1-2 grand more.

My wife has a 2010 Fit Sport and it's been pretty fantastic so far. Great little car.
A search of cars.com turned up no EP3's within a 75 mile radius under $5k. Low-mileage 2000 Civic DX/LX are still fetching $4-5k around here, so I'm guessing an EP3 will fetch $6-7k around here.
I'd say 5 to 7k is right. If you are diligent you will find a very nice one with low miles in vgc. Some are tastefully modded with A Spec (same as Type R) suspension etc., maybe some other Type R parts.
You might consider broadening your search area as there were not that many brought over in the first place. They will be hard to find someday.
these are the wheels I got in 17". lightly used for $150. tires were take offs that should last me the 6-7000 ill drive it this year.
thinking matte black plasti dip on the wheels?
installed my wheels and tires finally, total cost: $185
they're a few sizes bigger than they should be but they fit good and fill out the wheel wells

yup, very versatile car
Did a couple more things today. Installed new speakers, Polk DB651s all around.
Also relocated my cruise control switch. In my normal seating position it was obscured by the steering wheel, now it's not:
old position
new position, you can see the old position blocked
Sold the previous tire/wheel package, ran the stock ones for a while.
Just got these, Drag DR63s and Nokian Line 215/45/17s
