The HayaSubi is sitting a little low in the rear.  Just got some new stock replacement Miata front shocks and a pair of new Moog Escort Wagon rear springs.  A fb V8 Miata page had some information on affordable ways of dealing with the extra weight of a V8.

I seem to recall that the early crx si had an outward opening sunroof.  I need to have a glass panel roof of some sort in the van so that I can see traffic lights!  As most of the sheet metal on the front half of the van roof is garbage, ideally, I would like to take a trip to the Pick a Part armed with a cordless sazall and cut out a roof clip to graft into the van.  Can anyone think of another vehicle with either a (fairly narrow) fixed glass panel roof or outward opening glass roof?

Thanks

In reply to Ben_Modified :

if you're talking EF CRX it was a metal panel that did open outward. I think some 90s-00s GM cars had outward opening glass ones.

Thanks for the information!

My 88 Toyota pickup had a fold out glass moon-roof.

The new (stock) shocks are in the the Escort springs were a perfect fit!

Parked next to the Xb your 360 looks like one of those department store kiddy rides that rocked back & forth for a couple minutes.

I forget how small it is until I park it next to a "normal" car.  I checked, it is smaller in length, width and height than a classic mini!

Somewhat serious question: is there a hole in the roof to stick your head through when you drive it, or are you nearly laying down inside?

It is actually quite roomy! I can stretch my legs out completely and with the seat in a normal upright position, I have a good 3" of head room!

In reply to Ben_Modified :

Wow! It sure doesn't look like that would be possible. Do you think you'll bring it to CTC any time? I'd love to see it in person.
