Last - for now - of the hurricane reduction sale......
Brett brought this to me years ago. And - well - apart from finding the rough running to be catalytic converter pieces blocking the muffler - I loved this thing. Well - if you call love spending a lot of money and then divorcing it. Hmmm....... I'm not going to finish it.
So - let's jump right to the good/bad:
Good:
1. Brand new Nitto tires on used C5 rims. Zero miles.
2. Brand new upper/lower control arms in front - all new bushings. Zero miles.
3. Brand new Koni suspension kit - springs and shocks and I think that was it. Zero miles.
4. Speed engineering long tubes. Half installed. Zero miles.
5. Flowmaster complete cat back kit. In a box. Zero miles.
6. In keeping with my southern theme of rubbing in no rust to the folks up north - zero rust anywhere.
7. More I'm forgetting I'm sure (block off plate for removing air recycle crap, maybe 02 extenders for long tubes, service manual, etc...).
I'm not putting prices - but - if you know what the stuff is above - you know what it all adds up to....
Bad:
1. You have to put it together.
Whelp.... Yeah. It's fate is in your hands now!
Pictures:
Put it together as in need to put all of the parts on? Or put together as in does not run/drive currently?
In reply to EchoTreeSix :
Ah - both? Need to put the parts on - and - does not run/drive currently as it needs those parts.
Hope that helps.

That is a really solid deal. Always wanted one that color. If it were a manual I'd be on the way with a trailer. Still sorta thinking about it.
One last photo - was cleaning the garage this morning (hey - you see all of those bins!) - and - one was marked "Camaro".
Opened it - and - yeah - you get all of this stuff too! :)
I've sent this to a friend who is looking for a Camaro. He also wants a manual, but the 6 Speed swap isn't too awful on these.
In reply to Brett_Murphy (Agent of Chaos) :
Thanks Brett. Sorry I didn't finish it as I would have dropped by your house - heck - you could have kept it for a week or two and drove it around.

This might be over half the reason I'm telling my buddy about it.
I *really* need to stop looking at this before I buy it back as another Challenge project.
In reply to Brett_Murphy (Agent of Chaos) :
I mean - you DO know how to get here!!!! :)
Serious messaging ensues.
Solid deal for $2K. Hope my wife doesn't see this. She still has her 1996 Z28 1LE she bought new, now has 400K on the odometer. The amazing thing, it's only on it's second opti!

The trade is locked in! t's coming back to me, probably later this week, in exchange for the Miata and cash my way. I'm going to try to make this into a Challenge Contender- probably for 2026, since the Farm Use WRX is my contender for 2025.
This is the first time I'm going to get a car I let go back. It's kind of weird.
In reply to Brett_Murphy (Agent of Chaos) :
I truly couldn't be happier that you're getting it back as it really belongs with you!!!!
