I know these are pretty rare and this looks to be a pretty clean example other than the mismatched color looking doors. Again no association but my brother lives in Oxford so he maybe able to check it out for someone interested

That's $1,200 worth of car on a very, very good day. What's the other $2,800 for? Non-working AC, gauges and radio or post-accident patchwork body?
Before you jump on this, I've actually bought my '99 735i with a stick (yes, Virginia, a total of 411 of the 7-series were imported into US with 5-speed manual transmissionsm kaing that car truly rare) for $1,200 in '06 and sold it for $2K in '08 and that car with 147K miles had all the stuff working properly and had a straight body in single color. And I've owned an '89 535i with a stick in Europe in '06-07, where it was also $2K car, but that's not a comparable market.
The car is nice. The price is insane.
