BIL picked this up, says it runs great. Previous owners were an older couple that bounced between N. Florida and Ft Myers, so a lot of highway miles. 160k on it
Interior looked good and when I saw it last night. Ill grab some pics of the Interior later today.
Near DC, these go for cheap, for some reason. Great off road trucks.
I was looking for one of these a few years ago...if I was still in the market I'd be curious about 4wd vs. 2wd, manual vs. auto, and whether it was supercharged or not (probably not based on wheels).
Just things to note while you're checking it out and getting pictures, and trying to save you some messages :).
Good rigs, but somehow smaller on the inside than it seems they should be.
Also, ridiculous knock sensor location from the factory, but the engine block has a spot to relocate it.
This also looks like a 2x4, which always make me ask "Why?"
Its a 2wd.
The 4wd selector in these is an additional shift lever:
When 2wd, that shift lever area becomes a storage bin of sorts:
In this vehicle's pictures, see bin, not lever:
In FL, 4WD is just unnecessary weight and mechanical complexity.

It obviously doesn't work for you, doesn't mean it won't for someone else

Have I somehow offended you in the past, sir? There are three posts in this thread from you and none are positive.
If I have offended you I would love to know how so I can make amends. Offline, please. Via the PM function.
If I haven't, I'm not sure why you are so negatively vocal about a vehicle you have no interest in and would respectfully ask that you stop responding. I don't want to check on this thread when I have a notification that someone has responded and be faced with negativity
In reply to Docwemple :
There are 2wd 4Runners, pathfinders, tahoes, suburbans, durangos, xterras, etc. etc. etc.
Not everyone needs 4x4
There were 2wd Wranglers for a few years, that one seems odd.
In reply to Docwemple :
But, being Florida it could be that your a fisherman. Maybe that is kayak fishing and your looking for the roof rack as well as the interior to hold accoutrements. Or, is could be a 16ft flat bottom boat that needs to be trailered. The ramp you use isn't steep but the additional ground clearance keeps more vehicle out of the water. Sure, 4wd is nice but if your not using it enough...expense.

This is negative?!?
"Go for cheap" feels it, in light of the rest.
If it's as nice as it looks $4k is a fair price. Most i've seen posted for sale are basket cases. GLWS.
