CHEAP Mercury Capri with hardtop! I don't think it's the turbo model but still.

'86 Dodge Charger for $450 in Kansas
I can go inspect this if someone is crazy enough.
In reply to JohnInKansas :
I had one of those in high school, with WAY less than 100k miles, and I think I paid 300... for a ten year old car. It leaked everything except gasoline. It did nothing well. It DID have a burgundy velour(?) interior.
Someone buy it and put an SRT4 motor in it. Or a K series. Or a VR6.
Facebook find, but a V8 swapped Chevette?
1991 300zx 5spd $2k says it has a miss, but doesn’t look too bad otherwise.
In reply to slowbird :
Ooh mazda B engine version that runs and drives? I shudder to think about the unseen rust though.

&8,500?!?!
NMNA. Free 87 Cressida (some parts removed)
Looks like the suspension is there. Would be a great start to a 24 Lemons car. Add a 1UZFE and go play. These have a really well-balanced chassis.
In reply to hobiercr :
The rear suspension had gone to a trailing arm by then, right? Or were they still a live axle? I occasionally wonder if the Cressida is the Toyota answer to the Volvo 240...

Rear fenders are a good indication of the rust situation. That’s where it starts.

Aren't they all plastic, though? It's an 30 year old Illinois car that's been sunbleached and had body panels replaced, anything from that area and that era I'd expect to have horrifying underbody rust. That said, the interior looks acceptable and those B engines should be bulletproof, even if you need to replace some disposables. If it runs and drives, it's not really a project, right?
Edit: I also apologize for just now realizing that the auction number is 52642069
Is this Radwood material? I don’t think it is for sale because it’s a guys DD. Just thought of this thread when I was walking past it in the parking lot.
In reply to ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :
It should have an IRS with LSD. My '83 does. I've always thought of the Cressida as a Japanese version of a 3 Series BMW.
This probably belongs here. 92 Caprice Classic Wagon - $900 (NMNA).
In reply to JRGunfighter_John :
Oh dear god... if I'm guessing correctly that the 'Bosch Fuel Injection' they're referring to is a K-JET- either RUN AWAY or find a carb manifold for it...

Those wheels and covers are much sought after
Edit: doh, wheels and recaros appear to have been sold
