Chassis:
2016 TonyKart Racer 401, Medium/B2 OTK Seat, 182 mm brake rotor (lower inertia), comes with four crossbars to choose from. Never bent badly enough to need straightening, aligns correctly, comes with 2 extra PKT axles.
Engine:
IAME EasyKart TaG 125cc. 2-stroke, about 28 hp on a cool day, Tillotson carburetor ($120 upcharge for your choice of JHC 3-jet or Ibea 3-jet slide carburetors). Air-cooled, easy to tune, runs at a nice light class weight of 350 lbs in WKA.
This setup is beginner-friendly, pulls >3 g in some corners, and would work very well for a tall skinny driver who likes a forgiving kart that isn't moved around too much by what the driver does. I'm not that driver - 5'8", 180#, and strong.
