Actually shopping for my mother, but it will be a spare autocross car for me and my wife (and my mom might get into racing as well).
I prefer a NB with lower miles, but I'm open to any 1.8L car. Because it's first and foremost a nice run around car for mom, paint and interior should be in good condition. I can handle most mechanicals. Looking to spend $5k or less.
Prefer little to no mods, but street class legal mods are welcome.
I'll sell you mine with the parts to put it back to stock for $4500. 
It is tempting.
