I have a'90 Camaro originally built for SCCA AS that is currently being used as a test bed for a 270ci v6. My goal is to make a last effort at racing. Not sure which direction to go, but, either way I can't do it alone. Driving duties, if desired, are dependent on what a person brings to the table.
Curious about that V6. Is it a punched out 4.3L?

A few of us down in Richmond. What ya looking for exactly? I'm currently juggling 3 kids under 2 or would volunteer. You've got Dominion raceway in your backyard that seems to have fairly cheap and frequent track time options then if course Summit, VIR, and others a bit further out. If you throw a V8 in it can run Camaro Mustang challenge with NASA.

My first idea was NASA American Iron. The power to weight rule seemed to ensure a level playing field. CMC is a good class to cut your teeth on, but too restricted for me. We (former race team) competed in ITB and ITS in the 80's. Sometimes having to use stock stuff is good, and sometimes it creates a problem. At any rate, I'm not up on all the latest class configurations this car may fit into and am open to suggestions.
