Been tinkering with some buddies on what looks to be a 1964 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88...its tealish, and kinda been neglected

Anyone have experience with these? It's an automatic, but I don't know the engine type and stuff...I'll get pics up tomorrow hopefully...Looks pretty sweet though as far as neglected 60's family cars go lol

Is it 2 speed, 3 speed or 4 speed?

2-speed = powerglide

3-speed = roto-hydramatic (I could be wrong)

4-speed = Olds Jetaway (slimjim)

The roto-hydramatic was the one known as a slim jim, and it wasn't a very good transmission. The Jetaway, on the other hand was very strong. Olds didn't have any powerglides in their full size cars. I believe the Dynamic 88 had the slim jim, and a 394ci V8.

I stand corrected.

Thanks!
