I am looking at a 2000. I really like these cars. I have had MBs in the past and they have there quirks but basically no worse than my Porsche.

However I have never has one this new. All the ones I have had were from the 80's and 90's

It look looked like a fast sporty coup. What I don't know is it a sports car or more of a GT cruiser? This would be a street car only. My DD.

I can only assume that it will get up and scoot with the 4.3 V8 and 275 HP.

How hard is it to work on this beast? The older MB's I had were not all that bad. You just have to think like a German engineer.

They are kind of like a German muscle car, more of a blunt instrument than a precise tool. They are fun to drive in an antisocial sort of way, but they aren't corner carvers.

They have tons of electrical gremlins. Tons. But I think the mechanical bits are pretty stout.
