I put a transmission valve body into my FILs 2017 jeep grand cherokee & am looking at options for programming it. My launch scanner that has served me well will not support this. From what I have found online Mopar will let you get a 3 day subscription to witech to program it but an interface box, j2534, is needed between the car & the laptop. The fully supported ones are $1000 plus, there are cheaper options available that claim they work.
Does anyone have any recommendations or experience on this or may it just be better to tow to the dealership & have them flash it.
