Fuel pressure test. A shop across the street told me they would do one for free tomorrow morning.

Which reminds me.. I may as well pony up for a fuel pressure tester for the future. I'm so tempted to just throw together some fittings for my compression tester, but I assume the gauge isn't rated for gas.

Are you unplugging the electrical line, or are you pulling off the hose? If it is leaking, unplugging the electrical line won't tell you anything.

Just pulling off the electrical line. I see what you are getting at now. I'm going to pull the whole unit and let it spray into a clear plastic container and see what happens after it shuts off.

Cold start valve passed the Bentley test.

(Spray less than 8 seconds, spray a nice cone, and doesn't drip after you wipe it with a rag)

That's too bad. CSV spewing raw fuel into the engine would have been an easy fix and makes some logical sense.

Have you looked at the AFM?

LOL!

I literally was just logging into GRM to post that my AFM is totally bunked up.

Going to try to find a suitable replacement and see how that changes things.

It fails the resistance test for both the air temp sensor and the flap pot.

On top of that, it was stuck WIDE open?? I touched it and it snapped back to it's resting position.

It's always something stupid that you overlook, right?

Awesome! Glad you found it!

After I fixed the stuck flapper the car runs and drives like before. It's amazing that it actually runs with a bad MAF. I'm going to fix it asap, maybe there is a hidden beast lurking inside this motor! (Unlikely, haha)

Thanks again everyone for the help. Now I can go back to plotting brake and suspension overhauls and engine conversions?
