Is this the famous brake article by Angry?
In reply to dj06482 :
No, this article was by James Walker Jr. We should scare up some AngryP editorial....

I remember this article when new and have since donated all passed magazines on to others. Thank you for pulling this one out. For me this was the best written brake article ever, and written in a way that everyone could understand, relate to, and hopefully follow, in tuning the overall performance of their car for the street, AutoX, or track.
Great article, thanks for posting! It's funny trying to explain to the average car enthusiast why getting braided lines and giant drilled rotors wont stop their car any better. Pedal feel might be better but that's it. "But why does Porsche run drilled rotors on their cars?" is a question I always hear, and saying not on their race cars never satisfies and I end up feeling like the jerk that told the kids there is no Santa.
Mike, that is too funny. Telling adults their street-version-of-a-race-car isn't all that the sales guy said it is is always a fun conversation!
This article makes me feel less bad about my cars brake systems that has nearly zero 'upgrade' options.
Since this has been one of our more popular articles, we've converted this over from whatever jpg/pdf combination that used to be there to the proper web format. Enjoy!
