Mine won't have bore scoring. Or coolant pipes, coolant T's and other coolant parts decide they no longer want to hold coolant. Plus 3rd row seating and a much stronger aftermarket for everything. Plus it doesn't really depreciate, plus, plus, plus.
BTDT, got the t shirt. There's no way I'd own a old 955/957 now unless it was a toy and I had a bank account set aside for it to fix stuff that I either didn't want to do or couldn't do myself. The only one I'd consider owning would be a 957 GTS 6 speed MT, just because of the rarity of it. I actually drove one before I bought my 955 Turbo S and it was a very underwhelming drive, the MT doesn't match well with the rest of the SUV, so it's not a great driving experience...
