Ok, currently have two different sets of wheels at each end of the celica. I'm having a hard time finding new, matching, wheels that will fit AND are under 100$ a wheel, and DOT approved, and not circle track garbage. Here's the skinny:

Fronts are 4x114.3 Toyota (4.5"). Rears are 5x4.5 Ford. Needs to be 15x7 0 offset (4" backspacing) Needs to match. Under 100$ per wheel.

Summit didn't have anything matching. I know some might suggest doing a lug conversion spacer, I've only seen and heard horror stories, even with the expensive stuff.

Never had issues with lug conversion spacers. I've used them on 2 challenge cars.

They aren't cheap though, probably not the answer at under $100 per corner.

In reply to Trackmouse:

Maybe look at wheels in the Datsun/Nissan/Infiniti line. That's the only manufacturer I know of off hand that's done both bolt patterns.

Start fishing around the hachi boards. Might find someone offing a set of cheap drift wheels.

Can't you order from one of the circle track wheel companies? Basset, Diamond, etc.?

He did specifically say that he didn't want circle track wheels so not likely.

Also, I am curious why circle track wheels are garbage? I seriously have no idea.

Have one end redrilled to match, make sure to find common rotors in that pattern that will fit before deciding which end to redrill.

That or use bolt pattern adapters.

As long you're going from 5-lug to 5-lug and the thickness of the adapter isn't too outrageous, the chance for catastrophic failure is considerably lessened.

I've run a set on my 924 for years without issue and even on the rough Portland roads with the stiff suspension it's not had any problems.

Circle track wheels tend to be heavy. Sometimes they are "for off road use only". Looks are always subjective too.

Right. Also heard the circle track wheels are so cheap because they basically plan on them getting munched at some point in the season, so they are always replaced. There is a set of DOT approved wheels from Bassett. It's hard to find a company that makes the same style wheel in both lug patterns.

Not an answer but maybe a lead...

All s13 body 240sx's were 4x114.3.
For the s14 body ('95-'98) the LE versions (base model) continued to be 4 lug. The SE versions were 5x114.3 or 5x4.5.

You might find something across the Nissan 240sx years that are similar. Some common color spray paint might help to make them look more "same".

Look for used sets of Enkei 92s (mesh style). They were available in both those bolt patterns, and American Racing had a version, mand I seem to recall Jeep used them back in the 80s. Finding 0 offset might take some patience, but since you can't rotate them anyway, you might consider running a staggered offset front to rear.

Same for BBS mesh style wheels... lots of manufacturers made versions of it, and Ford used them on early 90s LTD & Crown Vics.
