Becasue I like to torture myself over what I can't yet have I go Miata hunting. Check this one out. Look ast the crappy respray and the iffy front bumper. I think that's a blower under the CAI

the car is 19 years old. There are lots of stuff made for it over the years that is no longer available. I don't think that the magazine that tested it in the link below is even around anymore.

The CAI is near the exhaust, because that's where the factory air box is. They use the bottom half of the factory box, and the one person that I know who had one said that it was possibly better than the normal airbox. Possibly. I think that he sold it when he went Spec Miata, though he may have moved it to another street Miata.

It's a racing beat air intake, I bought one 7 years ago for my first Miata. They can crack at the mounts, or in the center, especially if / when the motor mounts get worn. Made a nice sound, though.
