Great video of an AMEC street legal Ice race. These cars are driven to the track. The tires are street legal studded tires. The ice get polished during the race and the lap times go up by several seconds.
Ice racing is cool and can be fun but I have the same issue with it that I do with snowmobiles. I hate working on stuff outdoors in the cold.
