A couple of months ago there was a great article in the magazine on calculating the performance potential of cars for autocross by Andy Holis. It was centered around STR and had some examples. I recall there being a thread about it on here, but I'll be dammed if I can find it. I think Andy had e-mailed the Excel file to various people. If any one here has a copy could I get it? My e-mail is

Thanks
Damn my typing! 'S' and 'D' are next to each other. I really ment Andy Holis in the title not Andy Holid. Sorry Andy if your out there

You can easily enough recreate the file if you follow the article. I just did this a few days ago, and building my own allowed me to easily tweak it just a bit for my own use. For example, I didn't normalize the thrust or grip factors, and I computed a single figure of merit for each car.
old post, but did anyone ever acquire or care to share their rendition of said spreadsheet?

Wow, I was surprised to see my old post pop up. I'm pretty sure I recreated it myself in the end. I can poke around on my hard drive and look for it if you like.
