Mike has returned to England and Ant has a new show on Motor Trend. He’s building an MG/ Alfa Special. There are three episodes up so far and I’ve watched them all. It’s a very enjoyable show.

Maybe Mike is returning to England between seasons, or (hopefully) they are moving the show back there. - I'd much rather watch them restore european and British cars, there's plenty of show for the US market. Ant's show is called Ant Ansted Master Mechanic, just like the title of this thread: https://www.motortrendondemand.com/show/ant-anstead-master-mechanic/141820722/
I gave up on Wheeler Dealers when they dropped Edd. Now I watch Hoovies Garage on YouTube when I want a dose of "buy cheap, broken crap and fix it."

Some people enjoy the show. It's not as budget minded as it used to be before they brought it to the US, but it's still a nice alternative to the usual car show that's concentrated on fake deadlines and hot rods with giant wheels.

They didn't drop Edd, he quit.

Either way, Edd was the reason I watched.

I never watched it because I thought it was one of "those" shows. Maybe I'll try an episode tonight.

Me too, but I like Ant as well now. I may even prefer him doing the show.

They may be hard to find these days, but search YouTube for the very early shows in England with Edd China. At the beginning it was very grassroots, they were buying cars tfor a just few hundred pounds.
Except maybe for the Audi TT, Wheeler Dealers never ever told you how many miles were on the car. That always bugged me.

oh yeah, nothing against Ant. I think maybe when Edd disappeared I found that I realized that there's enough channels on YouTube with people tearing things apart and talking through it to keep me satisfied. This thing Ant is doing on Motor Trend is probably pretty great.
In reply to MrFancypants :
Me too. Then I watched an episode put on YouTube by Motor Trend kind of as a taster, the one where Ant fixed the Z06 seat tracks, and I have to say — I like Ant.

Oh no. It was and still is definitely not one of those shows. It’s top notch and I’m one who is very easily bored by TV
