I've noticed that rock auto always has these pads for super cheap but have stayed away from them so far. I've used the bargain C-tek blank rotors with great success on daily drivers and on the track.
I'm doing brakes on my current daily and am wondering if anyone has had bad experiences with them. I know Centric is the parent company of Stoptech.
If these are not great, what bargain pads do you guys like? I have tried metal masters and hate them for the dust and noise.
I haven't used the C-Tek pads, but I continue to be impressed with every 120 Series rotor I use. I use their Stoptech Sport pads and have been very impressed with them as well, although I imagine you may not want to deal with dust and quicker wear rate on your daily driver. I am convinced that Centric has their E36 M3 together. I fully expect that you will not be disappointed with their ceramic C-Tek pad.

I like the E36 M3 out of their stop tech pads on the vette, and they were cheap, id probably need alot more tire before a better pad would be very helpful.
Ive gotten to the point were i dont like cheapy ceramics, but i do like cheapy semi metallics, if i was gonna run a ceramic pad for cheap though itd probably be centric, had good luck with all their brake stuff
C-TEK's are decent, but definitely not up to track or AX use. Step up to the 300 Series Centric ones at a minimum for that, though the PosiQuiet line is much better suited to performance work.
Can't speak to Centric brake pads, but I've been very happy with their Premium rotors. I've used them on both our RAV4 and the Odyssey and have been impressed. Rock Auto and the 5% GRM discount is my go-to for brakes.

Wait, GRMers get 5% ??? Wish I had known that last week! How does this work, for next time?
Is there a non expiring GRM discount at RockAuto?

Current discount code is 11F0F6E91D2B16 (expires May 17)
I just check RetailMeNot, if you ever order from RockAuto and get less than 5% off you're doing it wrong...I look at it more as a 5% lazy man surcharge
In reply to GameboyRMH:
Same with not getting at least 20% at Advance.
I've used Centric rotors, calipers, and their PosiQuiet pads on my previous DD and was quite satisfied.
