however if the article is to believed that  the f8 and 720s at $500,00 is the competition, why would anybody pay $1.8m for this?

Looks good, but it would be nice if someone went for the cheap super car market like Chevy did. 500hp, mid engine. 30k? I've never understood why a 30k car has to look like one? It's metal- they can literally bend it any direction they want!

The problem is mainly sales volume. 2 door cars are dying, and dies for stamping bodies arent cheap.

30k cars look like it because the molds/dies are simpler to make, and if you made a more complicated mold for a lower volume car at the same price point, youre going to lose money
