They're Dunlops specifically designed to look like treaded race tires from the correct time period. Radials instead of bias construction as well. Owner of car is a founding member of VRG and often races a 59 Formula Junior OSCA.
Tube frame, fiberglass bodywork, Corvette 327 (worked on) with Muncie 4 speed, 71 Datsun 240 front and rear suspension/rear diff. Fast!
I'm 5,7 and it was tight. The owner is near 6 feet. It's the automotive equivalent of skinny jeans.
