This car rocks the whole world. Driven by Gunnar Jeanette, Kyle Petty, and Paul Newman at the Daytona 24. Porsche didn't have any more GT1 chassis to sell to Jeanette, so they bought all of the parts and built one.
I realize the new Boxster, and the Carrera GT aren't technically race cars, or very vintage, but you deal with what you have.
A mix of old and new cars.
I'm somewhere near the end.
(at The Glen......taken by my better half from the pace car).
OK, here's some from the PVGP at Schenley Park last year.
And here's me at Shenley '11 trying to catch Bill Schwartz in his 356.
I have a picture of my boys in front of that car at Mid Ohio, too bad I can not get to it from work.
I am stoked for the Vintage GP at Mid Ohio this weekend and all of these cars are making the waiting worse.

That's Herb Wetanson's Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato. Beautiful car!
Wetanson used to own the Wetson's Hamburger chain. He made a pile of cash when he sold everything to Nathan's Hot Dogs.
There's real money in fast food!
On that Porsche lineup, which looked like it was being filmed for a commercial, 911s are conspicuous in their absence. A 914 and no 911? Heresy!

It was filming for a commercial, you are correct. The commercial is for the new Boxster. Can you guess what all of those cars share with the Boxster that the 911 doesn't?

D'oh! I thought that I saw a bathtub 356 back there. Need new glasses!

Indeed they are. That was one of the most exhilarating days of my life!

Thanks for the info! I swear I saw that car at the Mitty this year, but I didn't know anything about it. I could tell it was an Aston, but not much else.

I found the pic, very cool car.
( I will have to fix this when I get home, not sure what happened)
Picture above doesn't show on my computer, but here's another view of that car.
And while I'm at it, Here's all the videos and photos I shot at Pittsburgh last weekend. We were too busy with the race car, so didn't even get a chance to go over to the golf course (where there was about 2000 classic cars).
Herb's car was at the Mitty this year. I worked for Herb way back when and know the shop that maintains his cars and met up with them at the Mitty this year. Rusted Busted, you know Wetson's, you a Long Island boy?
