I'm looking for the same thing around here. They seem to be depreciating like a stone, so I'm wanting an 06 - 08 with 80k for $7 - $9k vs. a 10 with half the miles for twice the money.
I paid $92xx-ish out the door (with tax, tag, title) for my 06 with 70K miles in Jan of 2011.

CarMax is one of our biggest customers. They send plenty of purchase managers to every auction and scoop up EVERYTHING. This has lead to a lot of the other dealers to get pissed off and become bottom feeders.
Good luck getting around KBB/NADA trade-in for your vehicle from them... LOL..
That's because cCarmax doesn't use NADA or KBB for anything. The only reason that is even on their stickers is because they have every customer come in a tout it. Most of the time they beat KBB and then use that to prove how KBB isn't accurate and therefor taking it out of the equation on the trade. Very clever don't you think?
They usually give 1 to 2 grades less than the same car at Mannheim. It is because they have to pay their purchasing department and it is a fee taken out of the offer. So if you see, $9500 the actual offer is $10K. The computer automatically takes the $500.
Also the interest is rigged on their financing. If you get approved by Carmax Financial or Bank of America, call Capital one and 90% of the time you will beat their rates.
If you get an offer from Capital One call Capital One and you can beat their rates.
