See an R8 regularly, a Bentley continental, guy in town had a Maserati gt he dailies. Also see a nice e30 318 among the parade of crossovers going 20 over while talking, texting, make-up and shaving

There is a gentleman in Eugene that has dailied one of these for 5 years
Snow, Sun, Rain... you name it. Every damn day. Either a child or groceries in the side car.

I saw one of those too in NYC!!! forgot to put it on my list, but I did stop to drool.
I used to see a black Focus ST with Cobb decals going the opposite way up my street every morning, and coming back the opposite way in the evening.
I don't see it anymore, but I do see a white Focus RS now. Coincidence? I hope not...
When I lived out that way it appeared there was a guy who lived somewhere around 9 or 10 Mile and Woodward whose only car was a C2 Corvette, if you drove that area with any frequency you'd see it year round.
See a lot of interesting rolling stock in the doctor's lot at the hospital. Have seen a lot of other cool cars too, very nice red NSX that one of the plastic surgeons has, when he is not driving the yellow Maserati coupe. One time there was a Shelby GT-350 that was certainly not street legal. Had a nice cage in it though. Set off every car alarm within a block when he fired it up.
A few years ago when I used to commute down I-95 to work in Delaware there was always the greatest cocaine white Porsche 928 with chrome D90s and what i guess was a puke green Maverick with side exit exhaust, skinny tires up front and jacked up in the rear with bigger tires.

True, I see them all over SF when I'm there for work. They are still something of a rarity here on the east coast although there is a guy in my very rural outskirts town who has one that I see parked at the golf course every now and again.
There are few interesting animals I see often like a minty 88 MR2 a few Miata's that I see frequently.

Is the shop off 2nd Ave in the 90s? I used to walk by a place regularly when I worked up there that usually had something different out in the street. There was someone that used to pass by on York Ave with a brown 80s Aston Martin almost daily too.
On sunny days this is usually parked a few blocks from my depot.
This one is out in all weather
This one I see further downtown. I'm not sure what to make of it but I guess they've gone as far as they can with it because they started dressing up an older SLK to match.
Teslas are certainly not common around these parts either, but I still see two of them pretty regularly.
I see a fair amount of American muscle type stuff, so something like that doesn't necessarily really register with me, even if it's running skinnies and drag slicks or something. Car show weekends are another story altogether, every other car coming the opposite way is something pre-1980 and American driving up to the fairgrounds from US15.
There's a silver NB Miata that gets driven year round, rain, sleet, or snow. Ditto an Evo 8 or 9, though I haven't seen that one lately.
There is a T Bucket, in obnoxiously awesome candy green metal flake, as well as a white and red Model A, that I see from time to time, although only when it's nice out.
My favorite has to be the Corvair Greenbriar, though. Pretty sure it's legit daily driven during the non-snowy months, as I usually see it at least 2-3 times per week, usually with a young kid riding in back. I wish my parents were as cool as his
Despite Manhattan being a horrible place to drive--no offense, Wally--you can find some cool stuff out and about.
I took this when up there in February. (I guess you don't have to know New York too well to figure out where it was spotted.)

To me this says "I'm a total douche bag"

Transformer in the middle of a change?

Lower East side was the last place I ever expected to find a running Lancia Beta HPE. It was a little crusty, but still running around the mean streets of the city
In reply to David S. Wallens:
About three blocks from the Empire State Building.
I don't know if it's the same car but a convertible Maserati the same color orange is usually parked in the street near where I worked off Houston St. The Lower East Side and Greenwich Village are good places to find odd and older cars out and about.
I used to drive my black 940 turbo wagon to Columbus and back to Cincinnati everyday and no one ever got all that excited about it.
I finish my daily commute directly across from Daytona International Speedway. I see all sorts of interesting stuff on a regular basis, but not being used as daily drivers.
Stand outs in the last few weeks include a prewar Anglia, caged, tubbed, straight axle, roots blower, an early 60s Ferrari, and lots of contemporary super cars.
